Read between the leaves
Whitetails have an incredible ability to hide from the human, choosing many times to hide rather than run with their lighting legs! Enjoy. High Quality Giclee Canvas prints are available contact the Artist.
This baby changed everything
Unto us a Son is given! This is the beginning of a verdacio work. Color will come next. Keep watching or you will be left behind.
Cornered in Colorado
This beautiful gal is cornered by the frame and can run no longer. This handsome bull will fulfill his call and if all goes well by next year she will be nursing the next generation. High quality Giclee Canvass prints are available. Enjoy!
Personal Note
I have been working in PA the past few weeks trying to tie up some loose ends since my father’s death. I won’t be posting anything for the next few weeks as I try to get life back to normal again. Thanks for your patience and your prayers during this difficult time.

” Solitaire “
I found this lonely guy in Asheville NC one day as I was driving through the countryside. He looked so content and peaceful I thought he would make a nice painting.
” Puddle Feeders “
What a wonderful way to spend a hot summer day! These little fellows were taking advantage of the cool water of this creek to keep cool and refreshed! I especially liked the division of the strong warm green fields and the cool blues and violets of the stream and distant trees.
” Mr. Whiskers “
One of my friends captured this baby raccoon getting into his garden night after night. He had no use for the little critter, but I sure did. He gave it to me to do a painting of the little beast. This was one of my very first paintings done in gouache about 4 years ago and very photographic.
” Got your backs “
While visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado I was able to snap off a picture of this Cow Elk playing the rear guard for the heard. I thought we were going to blow off the mountain as it was blowing a gale, 70 to 80 mph. Thanks God we lived to tell about it in oil paint!
” Gazing Red “
This beautiful red fox appears to me to be in some sort of trance. Maybe his eye is tracking the path of his next meal, a rabbit or a mouse or something. Either way he sat there long enough for me to paint this painting in six hours. Just kidding! No beast as speedy as an old red like this could sit for more than six tenths of a second, so therefore this beast was painted from my big apple monitor.
” Blue Ridge Doe “
As our family was touring the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina this beautiful white tailed doe crossed in front of our vehicle and did not realize she was about to become my next masterpiece.
